Come along to Te Wiki Kaumātua / Seniors Week at the Kaicycle Urban Farm. We'll provide a farm tour and share a bit about our regenerative approach to farming and then get our hands in the soil, for a range of volunteering which we can tailor to your needs - from weeding to planting seeds into trays and more. No experience necessary. This event is weather dependent. People of all ages are welcome, but we'd love to particularly welcome our kaumātua / seniors and will share a kapu tī / cup of tea at 12pm. 

Kaicycle is an Urban Farm and Composting project in the heart of Newtown, taking climate action and building community by diverting food scraps from landfill, regenerating soil and donating the veggies we grow to local food programmes.
