Join us on a journey into soil - it’s formation, the diverse life within it, and how to look after and nurture this precious life-giving resource. Soil is the interface between life and death for us as humans, and a resource that we are currently loosing at an alarming rate as a result of conventional agricultural practices.

In this workshop we will talk about what makes up soil, and the markers of soil health. We’ll discuss the implications of soil health on plant health, food quality, and climate change and how to take an ecosystems approach when it comes to soil. We’ll also cover and practice some regenerative gardening strategies you can employ to regenerate and protect your soil and the life within it!

This is a koha workshop and we ask you to pay what you can afford. If that’s a gold coin that is completely fine! If you can afford more we really appreciate it - we are a charity and rely on donations to be able to carry out our mahi. Koha can be paid in cash or by bank transfer. We recommend $20 if this is something you can afford.
